My name is Scott Wenger and I’m a photographer. Hopefully, this blog will be of interest to both photographers and models. My main interests are portrait, fashion & glamour photography. I use digital cameras and studio lighting. Since weather is sometimes unpredictable, I prefer shooting indoors — but I also enjoy shooting outdoors on overcast days. The advantages of shooting indoors include precise control of lighting, no delays or cancellations due to bad weather, and no worries about rain and water damage to cameras and lighting equipment.
I’m able to do a fair amount of digital editing after a shoot (beyond basic retouching.) For example, I can change entire backgrounds. However, I think the best photographs involve a certain amount of planning, communication, good lighting, and a relaxed environment. It is possible to get good photographs “straight out of the camera” and it’s much easier to “plan-ahead” than to fix a problem later.

My rates are negotiable and I would consider TFI with the right model. I require a signed model release. I can travel to shoots. I’ve done photo shoots in the following locations in Wisconsin: Green Bay, Madison, and Milwaukee. I’ve also done photo shoots in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Las Vegas. However, I can travel anywhere else (if travel expenses are paid.)
